How the leads reach you
Every lead starts with a homeowner who has already looked up their address on TPO Search to find out whether a tree is protected. By the time they ask to be connected, they know there may be a Tree Preservation Order in play — so they're past the "can I just cut it down?" stage and ready to pay someone who knows what they're doing.
You tell us the areas you cover and whether you do tree work, surveys and reports, or both. When a matching request comes in near you, it goes straight to you — not to a bidding pile.
What a lead looks like
A lead is a real person with a real tree and a job in mind: a name, a postcode, a way to reach them, and a short note on what they're trying to do. Not every enquiry is a chainsaw job. A large share of the people who find us have discovered their tree carries a TPO or sits in a conservation area. Those homeowners need a consultant, not a climber: a tree survey, an arboricultural impact assessment, a BS 5837 report for a planning application, or help preparing the consent application itself.

For now, every lead is free. A marketplace is only worth joining once enough homeowners are using it, and we'd rather earn your trust than your card details. When we do introduce charging, it'll be simple pay-per-lead: you'll see the price of a lead before you accept it, there are no subscriptions or lock-in, and we'll tell you well in advance. If it ever stops being worth it, you leave — no claw-back, no contract.

- Do you share my leads with other firms?
- No. One lead goes to one professional. We don't sell the same enquiry to ten firms and leave you to fight over it on price.
- I do surveys and reports, not felling — is this for me?
- Yes. A lot of our enquiries are people with protected trees who need a tree survey, a BS 5837 report, or help preparing a consent application. Tell us that's your work when you apply and we'll send you those, not the tree-felling jobs.
- What areas can I get leads for?
- Whatever you tell us you cover — a single town, a handful of postcodes, or a whole county. You can update it whenever your capacity changes.
- Do I need to be qualified or insured?
- We review every application, including insurance and any accreditations, before approving you. It keeps the network trustworthy — for homeowners and for you.
- How do the leads reach me?
- By email, as soon as a matching request comes in near you. You contact the homeowner directly from there.
